Cyndia
Harvey from Hype Coiffure London beat off stiff
competition from countries as far a field as
Guyana and Guadeloupe recently to become the
winner of the 2007/2008 SoftSheen. Carson Golden
Scissors Awards.
Innovation & creativity
Held at the luxurious Café Barge in Paris, this
highly commended competition is the ultimate
occasion for Afro hairdressing heroes across
the globe to be recognised for their talent.
Poised with passion, innovation and creativity,
this year's entrants used their expert colour
and cutting techniques to showcase their skills
around the theme of "Jet Set".

As
well as winning the coveted Golden Scissors Trophy,
Cyndia triumphed over ten finalists to scoop €5000
prize money, SoftSheen.Carson Professional products
worth €2000 and a Certificate of Excellence.
She says: "I am really proud to win this award and
I would like to really thank my model Chanel Countain,
who has been fabulous from the beginning."

Thrilled
to win
Cyndia Harvey, who also won the Black Beauty/WAHL
Hair Awards Newcomer of the Year gong in 2006, is
thrilled with her latest accolade:
