Occupation: Jude started acting at age 12, beginning his career in the daytime TV and stage theatre. His first big movie was Gattaca (1997), with Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, followed by a role in the popular Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (1997).
Jude received his first Oscar nomination for Actor in a Supporting Role for The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999). More recently Jude has taken the leading role in films such as Closer and Alfie. Jude now has an impressive collection of awards and nominations which include winning a BAFTA, 2 Oscar nominations, and 3 Golden Globes.
