Even at this time of year it’s hard to go into a shop that hasn’t already started its Christmas display. Almost all of the High Street shops have started to advertise ‘the perfect outfit’, ‘the perfect present’ or the ‘perfect handbag’. I must admit I have begun my ‘to buy’ lists.

I do this every year but you can bet that the list changes every time I look at it as I always see something better and better again as the time draws nearer. I know for certain that I’m going to be buying some of the fabulous jewellery that’s around at the moment. I really think jewellery has been so fantastic this last couple of years and the colours and designs are particularly great this year.

I think a really striking necklace wrapped in tissue and popped into a beautiful gift box is great to receive and prices are really good this season which is great news. If you have a bigger budget present to buy then you can’t go wrong this year with a Kathy Van Zeeland handbag. These seriously fashion-conscious bags are absolutely the in thing this Christmas and really are top of the range for all the fashion divas out there.

As usually I will be giving ‘the gift of good skin’ to at least one of my friends this year. I’m talking about Liz Earles Naturally Active Skincare range of course – my all time personal favourite of any range I’ve ever used., I’ve bought these products time and time again for friends and family who instantly all become converts and devotees.

And with the great offers we have here at on Revlon products I’ll be making up my famous beauty hampers that my sisters look forward to. But an absolutely definite present that tops my list to buy are the Viper Ice Diamond Hair Straighteners that we have at the moment. Beautiful gold straighteners with Swarovski crystal embellishments in gorgeous Christmas presentation packaging they are a must for luxury lovers. Take a look; honestly you’ll fall in love with them! Or if you really want to go mad and spoil her rotten Corioliss Crystal Hair Straightener

I always like to include some Breast Cancer Care products as stocking fillers each year – I think Christmas is a time of year to really count your blessing so hopefully you might consider doing the same, take at look at our current Beauty News column for ideas which support this very special campaign.

We have several very ‘crafty’ people in our family and we love to make our own Christmas cards to each other – I still haven’t come up with a design for mine this year but I’d better get a move on as I do have an incredibly large family!

My best friend and I will be continuing our tradition of buying each other a special tree ornament each year – I love taking them out every year and thinking of all the years we have been friends. I’ve seen a really sexy black glittered bauble for her this year but I must say, I may have to treat myself to one too as I just love it! If you’re feeling the pinch this year why not agree to start this tradition yourself – it doesn’t cost so much and the joy each year of seeing your collection is priceless.

One of the things I’m really looking forward to this year is the myself gift. I know it sounds strange but every year my partner and I buy ourselves a Christmas present. We both love buying gifts for others and for each other, but we also buy something that we really, really want for ourselves. We don’t open the packaging at all, we wrap it up and put it in the wardrobe until after Christmas lunch when we have some time to ourselves and then we open our ‘myself’ gift and know we’re going to love it. His is always some gadget or other for either the computer or home recording studio and mine is almost always a fabulous beauty hamper from either L’Occitane, Liz Earle, Decleor or Molton Brown. We set ourselves a price limit so that it doesn’t get too ridiculous – it’s a quirky tradition but we love it!

I know it’s early but keep an eye on our future promotions as we’ll have lots of our Christmas favorites plus plenty of new ideas for you in the coming months.
